It is also possible to detect moisture behind tiles or under/behind different floor or wall surface layers. Capacitative measuring method with a high frequency dielectric field. Provides a quick indication of the moisture content of the material. Move the detector over the surface and read the moisture values in the display. The backlit display also shows the air temperature. Temperature compensated for increased measuring accuracy. Supplied complete with 9 V battery. Manual included.
