Digital instrument which measures the thickness of most homogeneous materials using ultrasound technology. Measuring material thickness using ultrasound technology is particularly useful when access is only available from one side. For example pipes, tanks, cisterns, glass constructions etc. Ultrasound technology is suitable for measuring the thickness of metals, glass and plastics. The only conditions are that the material is homogeneous, both sides are parallel and the surfaces are not too uneven. Switches off automatically after 2 minutes. Measurement probe diameter 8 mm.
